Committee Ground Rules
The Committee developed the following ground rules that will guide how members work together. Each member agreed to abide by these ground rules.
Keep discussions confidential.
Be frank in expressing even unpopular views.
Start and stop on time.
Be open to thinking about things differently.
Respect each other’s differences and diversity.
Be willing to ask questions to gain clarity.
One person talks at a time; we hear each other out; no one dominates the conversation.
Be clear as to when a decision is being made.
Strive for consensus.
